Dinner and more!

Some of our Saturday Evening dinners rate a little better than others and Pork Chops, Scalloped Potatoes, Mixed Vegetables and a wonderful apple strudel desert with ice cream is a crowd favorite! We had a sold out crowd of 32 people.

The meal was much too delicious for me to take time with pictures, but when I was over earlier in the day to the clubhouse I discovered the fresh out of the oven Stroudel.

After dinner Kelvin kicked it up with some music and the dance floor came alive!

Kelvin out giving some Line dancing lessons!

Always time for a nice slow dance for Jess & Steve!

Then some fun with the Hokey Pokey!

Now for something a little different.

We always have a great mix of guests here at Twentynine Palms, each with different skills and life's experiences. This year one of our guests displayed some unique art work. Cheri Williams ran an art class the other afternoon in the clubhouse and it was a huge success, so much so while planning for our upcoming Luau Weekend we decided it would be a fun event to plan on Friday before we bury the pig.

So Friday March 11th from 9 AM to Noon Cheri will be holding a painting class in the Clubhouse, all materials are supplied and the cost is $5.00 per person. You will be painting your own "Lady Bug" Rock!

She also does art on Sea Shells, which we may have her order some shells and offer this at a later date, although they take a little longer, so we will plan accordingly.

We are very busy planning all the details of Luau Weekend and the art class should be a fun addition.

Next week is Mardi Gras, so we will have a fun Louisiana Style Dinner of Seafood Gumbo/Boil...menu to be announced soon, look for the flyers and sign up by Thursday in the office. The email newsletter tomorrow will have the flyer and menu.
