Saturday Night Dinner and Dancing!

Our dinners in the clubhouse on Saturday evenings are the best...last night we enjoyed a wonderful pot roast dinner with red potatoes and carrots, a wonderful salad and fresh bread and ice cream for dessert.

We had a great crowd of 52 people and the DJ rocked the house right after dinner with some great music and fun!

We even had some little ones join in on YMCA!

Of course there was some line dancing...

Lots of smiles!

Plenty of nice slow dances and even a polka!

Luau weekend begins this Friday with the bury the pig celebration - stay tuned!

Craft sale, Silent Auction and fun!

Another great annual event at Twentynine Palms RV Resort last evening, always a fun time. Clean out your RV and replace the stuff you want to get rid of with more stuff for next year!

This year was a touch different with tables of crafts for sale before the auction. There are bid sheets on some of the more unique items and then the fun begins with the fun auction. 200 tokens for 25 cents each then when the number is drawn you get presented with your prize...some are good, some are fun and some just get thrown away or taken by someone else at the end of the evening.

Regardless a fun evening...

Mardi Gras in Twentynine Palms RV Resort

Time to celebrate Mardi Gras in the RV Resort...

The day started with a parade around the park...a nice group of people got dressed up, decorated golf carts and toured the park - with prizes for the best decoration to be awarded at dinner.

After a wonderful dinner with red beans and Jambalaya, fresh bread a wonderful salad and ice cream it was time for the music and dancing...

YMCA is always a hit with the line dancers...

Plenty of time for some nice slow dances...

Luau Weekend is March 4 - 6 come help bury the pig and enjoy a great weekend - lots of things yet to do this season, check the calendar....

Frugaling and behind the scenes....

Ten ladies from the park spent a day in Palm Springs shopping at the many thrift stores in the area. They call it "frugaling." They took a mid-day break for lunch at Lulu's California Bistro before going to more of the stores. Thanks to Shirley and Linda for driving the ladies around!

Time for Lunch!

The camaraderie and team effort by everyone in the park is amazing. For Valentine's weekend, more than a dozen people came out and helped transform the clubhouse from Winter Whimsy to Valentine's Day in a little over an hour. Just goes to show what a little teamwork can accomplish!

Part of the fun of a winter in Twentynine Palms RV Resort is enjoying the activities and participating in the planning and preparation...always a fun time here at the Park!
