2018 Luau "Bury the Pig"

Luau Weekend is always a special weekend of activities at Twentynine Palms RV Resort, the Luau and the "Pig Roast" is a festive and fun time!

The staff, crew and snowbirds have a busy week decorating the clubhouse, dig out the fire pit and the kitchen crew secures all the pork shoulders,  a secret rub, wrap in foil and get ready for Friday's Ceremony!

Don Nobert up early on Friday morning to light the fire and make sure it is a 10-15 inch bed of hot coals by the 3:00 Pm Ceremony!

The Luau Lanterns are lit and ready for the crowd!


Fire Pit is Ready!


Pina Coladas are being mixed!

The Pork Roasts are wrapped and wired in wet burlap!



The fire pit is carefully loaded to the max!


A large crowd gathers and waits for the Native Chief and entourage to "Bless the Pig"!

Tonight we enjoy the most succulent roast pork dinner!
