Planning Ahead 2021 - 2022 Winter Season

 

We are excited to plan our return next year to our full schedule of activities, we are all hoping there will be no further restrictions!!

Our Activity Director and Kitchen Staff have developed a schedule of activities and we are planning our Snowbird Special again for next year, details to be announced soon. Inside dining, music and dancing and finally our Famous Luau!!

When the pool is finished there will be a pool party and another when next season starts!

Tons of upgrades and changes going on at the Park - skylight removal, cottage refurbishing, pool reconstruction, landscaping changes and some dead tree removal. Plus we are in negotiations with Spectrum to establish new WiFi in all the cottages and to get WiFi through-out the remainder of the park. Stay Tuned for details coming this summer!

We will still be offering a dine in dinner this Saturday Evening!

Clubhouse Celebration

With the relaxing of some of the Covid Restrictions, we were able to finally plan a Clubhouse Dinner and the unanimous opinion was to make it a celebration. So our Kitchen Crew and Activity Director put their heads together and came up with a wonderful menu and the clubhouse was cleaned and tables and chairs wiped down and arranged to meet the Covid Restrictions and await the crowd to arrive!

The menu was a work of art - Your choice of a Prime Steak with Sautéed Onions, Chicken Cordon Bleu or Stuffed Portobello Mushroom, Baked Potato, Fresh Bread and a Wonderful Salad. The sign up sheet in the office filled quickly with a little over 40 people, many of our workampers and staff brought family and we had a great assortment of Park Guests, many new people so it was great to showcase what our normal Winter Saturday Evenings were like...not enough time to get our DJ signed up, but we will be ready for that in the fall!!

We had a wonderful time with plenty of socializing and loud boisterous cheers for the Kitchen Crew, thanks Stephen and Jessica and Bobbie and Big Jim for putting together a wonderful evening!

We are having another dinner next week - Chicken Parmesan, get signed up in the office! $10.00 per person, don't forget to bring your silverware and place setting!

UNDER CONSTRUCTION and starting back to normal!

 

There is a ton going on around the Resort!

The pool is moving along, finally got permits and destruction is now complete - next step will be to test plumbing and get an inspection then the pool will get shortened and re-tiled, new gunnite and a new pool deck - then water and solar heat!

The new steel for the new end wall is in!!

We are also removing all the leaking / poor design skylights from all the buildings, right now they are focused on the fitness / spa and restroom building so we can move ahead with the solar panels to heat the pool.

Oh and now that we can access the clubhouse again, we are starting up the Wednesday Evening Social and BBQ - so bring something to drink and BBQ - 4:30 pm to about 7 pm - BBQ at 5:00 pm.

And Saturday we are having a wonderful dine in Steak Dinner - get signed up!

The park is refurbishing everywhere so plan on many changes in your next visit, if you are here now join us for BBQ and dinner and pardon our dust and noise!!
