Last Dance

Not Quite sure how you memorialize nearly 20 years of fun, smiles and friendship from such a wonderful woman and huge part of the activity scene here at Twentynine Palms RV Resort.

We all knew last year when she left early to head back for treatment she had a battle on her hands and we hoped and prayed for her to regain her health.

Hard to select just a few highlights of her since she was in so many activities, but here are a few memories from the past few years.

Want to thank Wayne Larson & his lovely wife JoAnn Ronish Nobel for making the trip over for Shirley's Service

Our Shirley

There is a hole in the hearts of all of our Twentynine Palms Family and it certainly will never be the same with out Shirley, but when the dance floor warms up again, you can be sure there will be a space for Shirley!

We look forward to the return of our winter friends here at the park and hope for everyone's safe return.

  1. Jeanne and I thank you Jim for posting this thoughtful memorial to Shirley. You captured the essence of her smile, enthusiasm and energy. We sorely miss her and I'll think of her at each and every 29 Palms activity.

  2. Thanks Jim, very well done. She was one of a kind and we all miss her greatly. The service was very nicely done, some laughs that Shirley would have appreciated, and many many stories that brought a smile. RIP SHIRLEY. Peace to Ed and the family.

  4. Thank you so much for this wonderful remembrance of Shirley. She and Ed were such great friends of ours, in 29 Palms and at their Home in Hope. We had the best fun with them. I especially remember when trying to convince them that cricket was the best game, during a trip round Walmart in Idaho......And the weekly ladies v gents games for THE MEDAL.......remember Ed? She is so missed and I send my love, prayers and condolences to you all. Pat
