"Another Saturday Night"
Another Saturday night and I ain't got nobody I got some money 'cause i just got paid How I wish I had someone to talk to I'm in an awful way
However - Twentynine Palms RV Resort is so much more than Saturday Nights - but at least we have someone to talk to! Our weeks here are filled with activities every day!
Example - Monday Evening the clubhouse was rocking with College Football...there were plenty of Oregon Duck fans and a few Ohio State Buckeyes in the crowd. There was plenty to eat and plenty to cheer for, especially for the Ohio State Fans - it was a Super Bowl Party a few weeks early for the College Championship Game! More on that in a minute...
Saturday Evening is a great meal prepared by our wonderful Kitchen Staff and last night was fantastic as always - we enjoyed Frankie's Special Swiss Steak with baked potatoes, green beans, fresh bread and salad and of course ice cream for dessert! Then our good friend Walt Young broke out his guitar and the floor was open for some dancing and conversation - you see we have someone to talk to!
But first the Ohio State Fans had to rub it in a little to the Duck Fans with a sweet snack of "Buckeyes"!!
Then Walt continued with the evenings music!
The line dancing group gets bigger every week!
Some more enthusiastic than others!
It was a grand time and a good time was had by all!
