Wednesday Night "Happy Hour" got off to a roaring start this past Wednesday. The premise is simple come to the Clubhouse with your favorite beverage and if you like, something to throw on the grill for dinner.
This past Wednesday on the walk to the Clubhouse I was rewarded with a wonderful desert sunset!
After some casual conversation and a few cocktails the grill was fired up and the food went on!!
Saturday night the clubhouse was again bustling with activity as we enjoyed the first group dinner of the season. It was spaghetti, a nice salad and garlic bread plus ice cream for dessert!! We had a good turn-out with about 24 people or so...
After dinner the dance floor got a work-out!! It always takes one couple to break the ice, so to speak!
A few words from the staff!
We would like to give a big thank you to Lori for the great Spaghetti dinner last night and for filling in as our activities director for the time being. The winter wouldn't be the same without park gatherings. Our next event is the big Swiss Steak Dinner by Frankie on November 16th. We hope to see you all there! (Sign up sheet is in the front office. Please come in by Thursday if you wish to attend.)
