Thanksgiving Dinner 2017

We had a really nice crowd of nearly 50 people for a wonderful Pot Luck dinner in the Clubhouse! The park furnished the Turkeys and Ham and as usual our Kitchen Staff, did a superb job of making sure everything was perfect!

Shirley H - helped get some decorations up and did her usual fantastic job!

Don Nobert handled the deep frying of the Turkeys and as always were perfect!

Jim Prestwood handled the carving! 

The crowd arrived right on time with tons of food...

We were joined by our past Activity Directors - Pat and John...Hope to see you again soon!

The Buffet Line was amazing!

The Dessert Table was sinful!

We are off to another great season here at Twentynine Palms RV Resort - our old friends are arriving daily and many new people are discovering our friendly park!

Make Plans for New Years - we expect a crowd so make reservations for not only your RV Site but dinner and dance as well!

Luau Weekend is not far away either and filling up fast!

Seasons First Saturday Night Dinner!

The Clubhouse came alive last evening with a wonderful Spaghetti with meat sauce dinner, Garlic Bread a wonderful salad and ice cream for dessert! Miss Lori as usual outdid herself with a great delicious meal!

We had a nice group of about 20 people and our new workampers provided some wonderful Karaoke after dinner for entertainment!

Had a minor camera malfunction so only a couple pics!

Season 2017-2018 First Happy Hour & BBQ

The winter season officially got started last evening in the Clubhouse with a nice group of about 20 old friends and new friends for our first Happy Hour of the winter!

Make plans to attend every Wednesday at 4:30 - BBQ starts around 6:00 pm. This Saturday Evening we start our dinners in the Clubhouse, we start with Italian night - Spaghetti and Salad and Garlic Bread and dessert! Make sure you sign up in the office!

BBQ had a Good assortment of meals!

Friday evenings is campfire night and the BBQ is also lit for community cooking!

Season 2017-2018 Begins - We couldn't wait!

The park is just about ready for our winter guests, many have returned here for over 20 years, we can't wait for their return!

The park has been busy and with the arrival of 6 new Workampers we decided it was time for a little campfire and fire up the big BBQ for some foil pack dinners. The Luminators dropped by for some entertainment! Many of our park guests stopped by to say hello and join in the fun.

Luau Weekend is always a very special event and loads of fun!

We are also looking for a few workampers for the winter season!

Great Location in Southern California High Desert - A few miles from Joshua Tree National Park and 29 Palms Marine Base. Within two hour drive to most of Southern California from San Diego to Anaheim. Located next to an executive golf course with affordable golf rates and packages. We have great amenities including pool, hot tub, tennis, full work out facility, huge laundry, clean bathrooms, game room, store and much more. We have a full winter schedule of activities and fantastic, friendly snow bird group of guests! We are in need of grounds maintenance, general maintenance, housekeeping, night watchman, and camp hosts. We provide full hook up site in exchange for part time work. Getting Ready for our Winter Friends

Busy times here at 29 Palms RV Resort!

Our Maint and Improvement Schedule is Full!

The staff at the RV park have numerous projects going on, some maintenance and some nice improvements to the Park. 

1. Trim Trees and clean up property.
2. Paint the kitchen in the Clubhouse.
3. New window blinds in the Clubhouse.
4. Paint the shuffleboard courts and convert to Corn Hole Courts - Equipment Purchased!
5. New Carpet and flooring for several of the cottages.
6. Assemble new Furniture for the cottages.
7. New Garage Door opener for the shop!
8. Inspect all electric pedestals and clean.
9. Get quotes and arrange repair of the Sauna!
10. New air pump for the Hot Tub.
11. The pool table is being repaired and recovered.
12. Point to Point Wireless expansion into the Clubhouse.

Removing Dead Trees and Trimming Branches!

Not sure what happened here - went in to work in the kitchen and the towel dispenser was on the floor? New one up soon.

The Clubhouse has been transformed into a staging area for furniture and emptying cottages for new flooring.

Boxes are more furniture to assemble.

Nice new tables for the cottages!

And after a long days work - some stuffed peppers for the evening relaxation session!

Golf Course Update! 

The watering system is up and running and the grass is greener everyday - lots of maint activity going on, look for some pictures in the next update!
