Thanksgiving Dinner 2016

It was another GREAT THANKSGIVING dinner in the clubhouse on Thursday with a nice group of about 25 - 30 people. It was a wonderful mix of old friends and some new ones as well...

The turkeys (Deep fried and Oven Baked) and ham were fantastic and of course the pot luck was just as good with all the fixins provided by our RV Friends.

Thanks to the RV Park for supplying the turkeys...

Saturday Night Dinner - Friends Gather Here!

Our home cooked Saturday evening dinners are a welcome activity during our winter season. Equipped with a wonderful clubhouse with a full kitchen affords our kitchen crew the ability to prepare some wonderful meals and a welcome place for "Friends to Gather" and share travel stories and solve world problems.

Last night we were treated to meatloaf, mashed potatoes & Gravy, green beans, a wonderful fresh salad and bread and of course ice cream for dessert.

But first we were treated to a wonderful California Sunset!

Dinner is Served!

We had a nice crowd, more winter people arriving daily!

The BBQ is Fired up!

Our Wednesday Happy Hours have begun for the winter season and we had a nice small crowd, ready to share stories and enjoy Happy Hour then bring something to throw on the grill and enjoy our neighbors company for their meal.

This week we had two wonderful German Ladies who have biked from Alaska all the way down to 29 Palms. What an adventure they are having...they joined us at the grill and shared their story over dinner.

So the BBQ is fired up every Wednesday at 5:30 ready to cook at 6:00, Happy Hour begins at 4:30 bring your drinks and food and join us to share your travel stories!

The Grill is Ready to GO!

The Saturday night dinners have also started so make plans to get here soon and join in the fun!

The Season Begins 2016-2017

After a long eventful trip, I arrived Saturday at about 4:30, just in time for the First wonderful Saturday evening dinner in the Clubhouse. We had salad, spaghetti, garlic bread and ice cream for desert.

It was a small crowd as people are arriving daily and plenty will be here for Thanksgiving and beyond. There is also quite a few people arriving just before Christmas - the season is starting to shape up.
