Our annual Luau Weekend is winding down and it was another memorable time here in the desert!
The Clubhouse was decorated for a Tropical Celebration!
A time for "Tropical Attire"!
Early in the afternoon the Fire Pit was opened and out came our Pork Roasts!
After 22 hours underground they were cooked to perfection!
Moist, tender and very juicy!
Perfection!
About 4:30 the sold out crowd of over 70 people gathered for Tropical Drinks and a wonderful dinner!
The pork was served with rice and green beans and a wonderful Tropical Fruit salad and Fresh bread!
After dinner we were entertained with two wonderful Polynesian Ladies who told us about their homes and showed us some wonderful meaningful dances!
Jim Finses joined in to help our guests teach the Hula!
After our entertainment our DJ Rocked the house!
Some have more fun than others!
Even with the time change about 25 - 30 people were up early for a wonderful pancake and sausage breakfast!
Special Thanks to all the park people who pitched in and helped to create a wonderful Luau Weekend 2017!
Stay tuned next Saturday we celebrate St. Patricks Day with a wonderful "corned beef dinner" in the clubhouse - be sure to sign up by Wednesday!
Tomorrow the Annual Can-Am Golf tournament next door at Roadrunner Dunes and the awards dinner Wednesday in our Clubhouse!
