Blog Update - Sat Night Dinner - Winter Season Starts!

Our second Saturday Night Dinner was a huge success, as always Lori came up with a wonderful, delicious dinner! We were presented with Meat Loaf, Mashed Postatoes, Green Beans, a wonderful salad and bread and of course some ice cream for dessert.

There was a great turn-out with good conversation at all the tables and a very nice social hour after dinner! I think the majority of the world problems were solved!

Some pictures!

I Scream for Ice Cream - ready to serve!!!

Plenty of takers on the ice cream!

Why older people get up early in the park! While heading for morning coffee at 6:15 this is what greets you!!!

Upcoming Events!

The season is really beginning to crank up with more of our winter neighbors arriving daily! The calendar on the website and in the right column of this blog is full of activities! Go HERE for the full calendar of events!

Activity Meeting is every Monday at 4:00 pm in the clubhouse - help plan the season!

Preparations are under way for our fantastic Thanksgiving Pot Luck Dinner at 2:00 pm on Thanksgiving Day, make sure you sign up with what you are bringing. The park is supplying the Turkeys and Ham. Make sure you check with Lori about cashing in on the turkeys on sale and pick one up for the park - there is a limit of 2 so park residents buy one and turn it in to the office and get reimbursed!

Our Thanksgiving pot luck is always a huge event with plenty of food!

The Wednesday Gold Scramble is happening every Wednesday at 8:30 - T Time at 9 at the Course.

Wednesday Evening Happy Hour is also a weekly event and a popular one - Happy Hour at 4:30 - BBQ Grill is lit at 6:00 for those who want to bring something to grill for dinner. The grill is huge and always plenty of room - had about 20 people last Wednesday! Craft sessions are planned - as well as Bridge, Texas Hold-em and Poker. See the schedule for all the activities!

Those of you still on the way - Drive Careful your friends are waiting! See you soon!
